The opening of the DN3 passage over A0 is expected between October 20-31, with minor works remaining. The Chinese contractor CCECC has a 9-month delay, which is better than Sinohydro's 2 years and 8 months on a shorter project. Alongside this, the 4.47 km section from Cernica to Pantelimon is also delayed, with issues related to provisional discharges on DN3. Out of nearly 100.8 km of the complete highway ring around the capital, only 17.5 km remain to be opened, expected in December. The contract with CCECC was signed in March 2023, with a completion deadline now set for early February 2026.
