The construction of Lot 1 of the A0 Nord highway has reached 82% completion, with hopes for connections to national roads by the end of 2026. The project, involving a Romanian-Italian partnership, employs around 780 workers and over 370 machines. Current work includes asphalt laying, service area setup, and installation of road safety features. However, the section between Corbeanca and Buftea is not yet ready for traffic, and the completion of the A1 connection is expected by April 2027, depending on weather conditions.
