Edimar Rocha Martins, 49, sold his belongings to fund the trip after communicating with the fictional 'Jéssica Oliveira' online. Upon arrival in Belo Horizonte, he learned that the woman did not exist and that the account was created to attract interactions for marketing purposes. Despite feeling disheartened, Martins returned home with a humorous outlook on the situation, expressing his desire to find love again.
