A Polish man returned 11,218 bottles and cans in one day, setting a national record. Pawel Mej, known as Bosy Biegacz, collected these items over several months, cycling through his district. He spent nearly 10 hours at recycling machines to return the containers. Mej plans to donate the 5,609 zloty (about 1,300 euros) he earned to local causes, including a school and a volunteer fire department. He aims to raise funds for a fire truck in the future.
