A man from Brăila was arrested for breaking into several churches and stealing money from donation boxes. The 41-year-old committed these crimes over two months, with the first incident occurring on August 9 and the last on October 4. He entered the churches by jumping fences and forcing open windows or doors. After multiple complaints were filed, police took two months to identify him. He was detained on October 8 and subsequently placed in preventive arrest. The total damage caused is estimated at over 7,000 lei.
