Teodora Teișanu, a judoka from Romania, has switched weight categories and won her first medal at the National Championships. After struggling with weight cuts in the 52 kg category, she now competes at 57 kg, allowing her to feel stronger and eat more freely. Teodora recalls the challenges of her previous category and expresses relief at the change. She has practiced various sports before judo, which she started at age five, inspired by her father. Balancing sports and academics, she is preparing for her final exams while reflecting on her experiences with weight management.
