The seventh edition of the Cappadocia Balloon Festival will feature 30 uniquely shaped hot air balloons from ten countries, flying over the UNESCO-listed region in Turkey. Organized by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the four-day event will take place from July 30 to August 2. Balloons from various countries will join the daily flights of 156 commercial balloons. The festival will showcase special-shaped balloons, including a whale designed by a sixth-grade student, marking its inaugural flight. Despite high interest, participation is limited due to the region's balloon traffic.
