Cristi Ignat has left Rapid after seven years and signed with CFR Cluj in the Superliga, reuniting with coach Marius Șumudică. Ignat, 23, previously played for Rapid and had loan spells at Mioveni and Petrolul Ploiești. His transfer was finalized after he terminated his contract with Rapid, where he had limited playing time this season.
