Around 600 people protested for the fourth consecutive night outside the Central Arrest in the capital, supporting Călin Georgescu's detention. They oppose his preventive arrest for 30 days and express their solidarity through social media. Protesters chanted slogans like "Călin Georgescu is president" and displayed a cross symbolizing the rule of law. Georgescu was arrested on September 29 for alleged organized crime and fraud. Upon his arrival at the arrest facility, he attempted to raise his handcuffed hands in acknowledgment of his supporters, but police prevented him from doing so, leading to boos from the crowd.
