Around 150 supporters gathered outside the Central Arrest in Bucharest for the ninth consecutive night to support Călin Georgescu, who is under investigation for serious fraud. His wife, Cristela, mentioned that he hears their voices and feels their support. Georgescu is currently in preventive detention, having been arrested since September 29, following a complaint from businessman Răzvan Leu, who claims to have been defrauded of 1.1 million euros. The court cited reasonable suspicions of his involvement in organized crime and fraud, along with concerns about potential flight from justice.
