On Wednesday evening, around 150 people protested outside the Central Arrest in Bucharest for the ninth consecutive night against the preventive arrest of Călin Georgescu. Supporters chanted slogans and displayed banners claiming political persecution. Georgescu and his wife returned to DIICOT for ongoing investigations, where authorities seized several bank accounts. The Bucharest Tribunal rejected Georgescu's appeal against the seizure of his villa, ordering him to pay court costs. His wife expressed distress over the investigation process, particularly regarding the display of their children's photos during the search.
