Angela Muntean, a prominent pediatric psychiatrist and head of the Pediatric Psychiatry Department at the Sibiu Clinical Psychiatric Hospital, has passed away. The hospital announced her death on September 13 via their official Facebook page. Muntean led the only department in Sibiu County dedicated to psychiatric care for children and adolescents, with 25 beds available. She was also part of the Child Mental Health Center team, focusing on early intervention and family-centered care for various mental health issues. Her services extended beyond Sibiu, helping patients from other regions of Romania.
