The law declares a crisis situation in the oil market until October 31, 2026, with possible extensions. Key provisions involve limiting markups to 2025 levels adjusted for inflation and allowing gas stations to raise prices once daily. Additionally, the excise on standard diesel can be temporarily reduced based on international oil prices. A contribution on exceptional revenues for specific operators is also established, and exports of diesel and crude oil require prior approval from relevant ministries. Sanctions for non-compliance are outlined, with fines reaching up to 2% of annual turnover.
