The sidewalks on Regina Elisabeta Boulevard in Bucharest will undergo repairs, as announced by the City Hall. This initiative follows the renovation of the University esplanade. The work will cover both sidewalks from Academiei Street to Mihail Kogălniceanu Boulevard, addressing broken and uneven pavement that poses risks to pedestrians. The repairs will include fixing the concrete foundation and replacing damaged granite tiles. Mayor Ciprian Ciucu emphasized the poor initial installation of the pavement and the need for thorough repairs. The City Hall aims to enhance the area for pedestrian safety and is also planning larger urban regeneration projects in central zones.
