A început golirea controlată a lacului Trei Ape / Seceta complică situația apei în Caraș-Severin
Water levels in some reservoirs in western Romania are affected by drought and maintenance work. At Trei Ape, controlled draining began in early September for complex repairs to the dam, which has not been done in 50 years. Currently, the reservoir is only 28% full. The Tăria reservoir, supplying Bozovici, is also facing issues with a 35% fill level, leading to water restrictions. Other reservoirs in the region are between 65% and 89% full, while the Surduc reservoir is at 70% and undergoing modernization to prevent flooding. The Banat Water Administration is monitoring the situation and advises users to conserve water.
