A fost pornită centrala de la Mintia, de la care se așteaptă 1.100 MW în Sistemul Energetic Național

Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced the successful ignition of the gas turbine at the Mintia power plant, marking a significant step in Romania's energy investments. The project, over 80% complete in June, is expected to deliver energy to the national grid soon. The two gas turbines will provide approximately 1,100 MW, with a total capacity of around 1,700 MW after the combined cycle is completed. This development aims to enhance Romania's energy independence and reduce imports, especially during peak demand periods. Bolojan emphasized the importance of collaboration among institutions to ensure timely progress in the project.
