The final section of the metal deck for the new bridge over the Siret River has been installed, according to Cristian Pistol, director of CNAIR. The bridge is part of the Brăila-Galați Expressway project, which spans 1,790 meters. Physical progress on the construction site has reached 97%, with completion expected by the end of the year. The last section weighs 165 tons and was positioned using a heavy-duty crane. Following the installation, several steps remain, including welding, securing, and paving. The project is valued at 449.42 million lei and is funded through the Transport Program 2021-2027.
