The International Stock Exchange of Moldova (BIMx) was officially launched in Chisinau, aiming to enhance the capital market in the country. The exchange, developed in partnership with the Bucharest Stock Exchange, is set to begin trading in the coming months after the admission of brokers and issuers. BIMx aims to provide a transparent and liquid market for investors, supporting Moldova's European integration. The initial capital of BIMx is 1.5 million euros, with plans to increase it to 3 million euros by 2026. The new exchange is expected to benefit companies and the state by providing access to capital and promoting a stronger financial system.
