The National Cybersecurity Coordination Center (NCC-RO) launched the National Academy for Cyber Skills during the Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference. Over 50 entities have signed the Bucharest Declaration, becoming founding members of the Academy's support community. The initiative aims to connect cybersecurity training opportunities with skill needs in Romania, fostering collaboration among authorities, academia, and industry. Key stakeholders emphasized the importance of addressing the cybersecurity skills gap in Romania, which exceeds 5,000 specialists. The Academy will map existing initiatives and resources, inviting organizations to contribute their programs to better understand the landscape and unmet needs in cybersecurity education.
