Brăila has unveiled a "Monument of Stupidity" by caricaturist Costel Pătrășcan, symbolizing that stupidity knows no bounds. The monument, shaped like the infinity symbol, emphasizes the need to reflect on our own shortcomings. Pătrășcan's idea originated from the establishment of the Humor Museum in Brăila, leading him to consider a monument dedicated to stupidity. He asserts that the monument is not politically motivated and highlights the dangers of ignorance. The piece is designed to be transportable for exhibitions in other cities, marking a unique artistic endeavor. Following the unveiling, a caricature show was held at Palatul Lyra.
