The "Victor Babeș" University of Medicine and Pharmacy has inaugurated a new campus designed to integrate education with sports, culture, and student life. Funded by the Ministry of Development and built by STRABAG, the campus features modern infrastructure for education and research. It includes extensive sports facilities, a multifunctional hall, outdoor courts, and a multicultural hall for up to 900 people, allowing for various cultural events. STRABAG's Technical Subdivision Manager emphasized the campus as an academic hub and introduced a tradition of planting a significant tree, a Ginkgo biloba, to symbolize the connection with the community. The project spans 15,400 m² and includes multiple seminar rooms, a library, and sports facilities.
