The auction for the rehabilitation of Râșnov Fortress has been completed, with costs exceeding 28 million lei. After two years of efforts, the project is nearing contract signing. The process involved extensive behind-the-scenes work, including documentation and obtaining necessary approvals. The winning bid was awarded to a consortium with a value of 28.26 million lei, excluding VAT. A contestation has been filed by the second-place bidder, and its resolution is expected by the end of November, which will determine the next steps towards contract signing. Mayor Horia Motrescu highlighted the progress made in unblocking city projects.
