The National Company for Road Investments has issued an expropriation decision for private properties along the Focșani-Brăila Expressway route, affecting 3,297 properties over 8,557,483 square meters, with compensation totaling 35,934,332.76 lei. This project, part of Romania's 2021-2030 Investment Plan, aims to connect key transport routes and includes significant infrastructure such as bridges and road junctions. The construction is led by a consortium with a contract value of 4.29 billion lei, funded through the Transport Program 2021-2027. The expropriation decision will be communicated to local authorities in the affected areas.
