A 3.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in Buzău, Romania, on Friday afternoon, according to the National Institute for Earth Physics. The quake struck at a depth of 114.7 kilometers in the Vrancea seismic zone, near several major cities. It was located 48 kilometers north of Ploiești and 53 kilometers south of Buzău. Since the beginning of August, Romania has experienced six earthquakes ranging from 2.4 to 3.4 in magnitude, with the strongest being 4.5 in February.
