An alert was issued at Otopeni Airport after an Airbus A321 with over 200 passengers returned shortly after takeoff due to a bird strike. The aircraft, which took off around 4 PM, decided to return for safety checks just eight minutes into the flight. Passengers were informed they would be provided with another plane for their flight to London, but later learned that the flight was canceled due to unexpected maintenance issues. They remained at the airport awaiting further instructions.
