Today marks the deadline for all municipalities to enroll in the ghiseul.ro platform, with 269 still unregistered. Vice Prime Minister Oana Gheorghiu reported that 650 out of 919 municipalities have completed the process, which is about 70%. She noted that the enrollment process is ongoing and updates will follow to finalize ongoing registrations. After the deadline, the Authority for Digitalization of Romania will notify the Ministry of Finance about non-compliant municipalities. Those that fail to enroll risk losing local budget funding from various state revenue sources.
