The Romanian Ministry of Health announced that the second batch of injectable flu vaccines will start distribution next week, with over 350,000 doses available. An additional 250,000 doses will follow by the end of October. Four flu vaccines are authorized for the 2026-2027 season, with sufficient stocks of the intranasal vaccine for children and the vaccine for seniors. Limited stocks of two injectable vaccines remain in pharmacies. The Ministry confirmed that the vaccination campaign will continue with higher allocations than last year, ensuring availability for those wishing to get vaccinated. As of October 11, 256,000 people have already been vaccinated.
