Former NASCAR driver Jennifer Jo Cobb has been ordered to pay over $850,000 to the wife of a man she allegedly had an affair with, which the wife claims ruined her marriage. A jury in Davidson County, North Carolina, found Cobb liable for both claims. Tracey Hughes received $50,000 for losing her husband's affection and $800,000 for the extramarital relationship. The affair reportedly occurred before the couple's separation in January 2021 after 17 years of marriage. Cobb allegedly encouraged the husband to lie about his whereabouts and helped conceal the relationship. NASCAR recognizes Cobb for her records in the Camping World Truck Series, including the most starts by a female driver.
