9 din 10 crime nerezolvate din Londra au victime din minorități
An analysis of unsolved homicides in London from 2019 to 2023 revealed that ethnic minorities accounted for 61% of victims. The study highlighted that 92.9% of unsolved cases involved individuals of color, with gun violence leading to a higher rate of unresolved cases compared to stabbings. The Metropolitan Police acknowledged a racial disparity in trust towards law enforcement, particularly among young Black men. Despite a high overall homicide resolution rate, the report indicates that communities most affected by violence face significant challenges in achieving justice, exacerbating existing distrust in the police.
