8,200 jobs on private healthcare sector market; public system keeps facing staffing crisis

This year, over 8,200 jobs have been offered in Romania's private healthcare sector, primarily for medical professionals, while the public system struggles with staffing issues. The number of available positions is 15% lower than last year, ranking the sector 12th among employers domestically but 5th internationally. Many Romanian healthcare workers are being recruited abroad, particularly in countries like Germany and Ireland, where salaries are significantly higher. The private sector remains a strong competitor to the public system, which has recently approved additional hiring to address its staffing crisis. Currently, there are 15,000 jobs listed on eJobs.ro, with around 1,000 in healthcare.
