650 milioane de euro pentru energia instituțiilor publice

Public institutions in Romania can access €650 million for solar panel and energy storage installations through two modernization programs. The first program allocates €500 million for solar panels and batteries, while the second offers €150 million for institutions with existing renewable energy systems. Eligible beneficiaries include municipalities, public hospitals, and universities. Funding can cover up to 100% of eligible expenses, with project applications opening on September 11, 2026. Investments must be completed by December 31, 2029, aiming to reduce energy costs and enhance renewable energy efficiency.
