55% din toată energia vine de la soare

Today, 55% of the energy generated in Romania's National Energy System came from solar panels, producing over 3,000 MW. Gas-fired power plants contributed 21%, while coal and hydro sources followed. Nuclear reactors at Cernavodă remain offline due to insufficient water for cooling. The country is a net importer from Bulgaria and a net exporter to Hungary during sunny hours. The government proposed extending the energy alert state until September 30 due to low Danube water levels, which hinder reactor restarts.
