533 de întreprinderi publice, reprezentând 28,5% din total, nu au depus la timp situaţiile financiare aferente anului precedent

A report reveals that 28.5% of public enterprises in Romania failed to submit their financial statements on time. The analysis, presented by Deputy Prime Minister Oana Gheorghiu, indicates that out of 1,868 public enterprises, 1,098 meet criteria for restructuring. Authorities must justify state ownership of these enterprises under Law 48/2025, with a deadline of June 30, 2027, for reducing their number. A detailed analysis will be conducted to determine the future of these enterprises, aiming to enhance efficiency in public service delivery.
