Romania has secured 5 billion euros from the PNRR for infrastructure projects, including highways and modernized railways. This funding will result in over 250 km of completed highways, around 200 km of modernized railways, and the renewal of 500 km of tracks. Additionally, more than 50 locomotives and 65 carriages will be upgraded, and 122 dangerous points will be eliminated.
