47% dintre tineri nu se simt pregătiți să plece de acasă

A recent study reveals that 47% of young people living with their parents feel unprepared to move out. Among those who have already moved, 46% cite financial management as their biggest challenge. The research, conducted on 1,610 individuals aged 14 to 30, indicates that only 14% view moving out as a significant milestone towards adulthood. Estimated initial costs for moving to a small apartment in Bucharest range from 5,000 to 6,000 lei, with monthly expenses reaching at least 3,000 to 3,500 lei. BCR advises young people to save a financial reserve equivalent to three months of essential expenses and suggests testing their budget before moving. Sharing accommodation can significantly reduce costs, with essential expenses dropping to about 60% of income when living with others.
