The newly opened section runs between Adjud and Bacău, although access is limited to Bacău East for now. Unfortunately, the construction company UMB has delayed the completion of a crucial segment, which was supposed to be funded by PNRR, by nine months. This delay jeopardizes the funding and future progress of the highway, with further delays expected until at least late spring next year for the connection to Pașcani. The situation raises concerns about the loss of non-reimbursable funds and the overall timeline for the project.
