Bucharest is facing extreme heat with temperatures reaching 37 degrees Celsius and tropical nights ahead. The National Meteorological Administration has issued a special weather forecast indicating a significant increase in thermal discomfort. The heatwave will persist, with the temperature-humidity index exceeding critical levels. Clear skies are expected, with light winds and temperatures ranging from 36 to 37 degrees during the day and 17 to 19 degrees at night. A yellow alert for high temperatures and thermal discomfort will be in effect from August 20 to August 22.
