36.000 de lire sterline nedeclarate, descoperite asupra a doi cetăţeni români pe Aeroportul Otopeni

Two Romanian citizens were found with approximately £36,000 undeclared at Otopeni Airport. The discovery was made by border police and customs officials during routine checks. The individuals, aged 38 and 40, arrived from Luton and initially approached the nothing-to-declare lane. Upon suspicion, a search revealed £35,770 hidden and undeclared. Since the amount exceeded the legal threshold of €10,000, the money was confiscated, and both were fined 3,000 lei each.
