30 de ani de la aducerea moaștelor Sfântului Apostol Andrei, la Galați
The 30th anniversary of the relics of Saint Andrew's arrival in Galați was commemorated with a Divine Liturgy at the Theological Seminary. The service was led by Archbishop Casian, who presented a fragment of the saint's relics for veneration. Since 1992, Saint Andrew has been the patron of Galați and, from 2001, the spiritual protector of Romania. The relics are permanently housed in the Cathedral of Galați, and the event is celebrated annually on October 16 and 17. The faithful gather to honor the saint and express gratitude for divine blessings received through his intercession. The Archbishop emphasized the importance of spiritual purity and the connection between faith and the heart during his sermon.
