30.000 de sticle de vin în valoare de 5 milioane de euro, furate de la o cramă din Italia
The prestigious Marchesi Antinori winery in Tuscany reported the theft of 30,000 bottles of wine worth around five million euros, marking Italy's largest wine heist. The theft occurred on Saturday night when seven masked individuals disabled the alarm system and loaded the bottles into two trucks. The winery's executive director, Renzo Cotarella, noted the high value of the stolen bottles, which range from 150 to nearly 500 euros each. Employees discovered the theft on Monday morning. The winery is alerting global clients to be cautious of offers outside official channels, as the stolen wine's quality makes it likely to attract attention in the market. This incident follows a similar theft at another winery in September.
