Overall, new car registrations rose by 5.3% to 7.55 million vehicles. However, experts warn that this growth is largely driven by subsidies for electric mobility, and without them, sales could decline. Chinese manufacturers have also gained market share, with BYD more than doubling its presence. The competitive landscape is intensifying, particularly for established European brands.
