Bucharest celebrated its 567th anniversary with a weekend of events, including the iMapp Bucharest Winners League 2026, featuring digital art and international music. Nearly 200,000 attendees enjoyed various activities across the city, with significant participation in events organized by the local government. The iMapp event showcased seven international artists through video mapping on the Palace of the Parliament, with the theme "PAST. FORWARD." The competition awarded V.P.M from Germany and Leticia RMS from Brazil for their outstanding works. The celebration also honored Nadia Comăneci's historic Olympic performance. The weekend included open streets, museum activities, and urban promenades, highlighting the city's cultural heritage and community engagement.
