During a recent operation, highway police issued over 2,100 fines and confiscated 92 driving licenses due to various traffic violations. The checks, conducted from October 5 to 11, revealed significant infractions, including speeding and failure to wear seatbelts. Additional penalties were imposed for technical defects and non-compliance with driving regulations. The police also took action against improper parking and illegal overtaking, leading to the withdrawal of 161 vehicle registration certificates and the identification of 11 criminal offenses.
