2.000.000.000 € prin REPowerEU. Reorganizarea ADS transformă terenurile sterile în uzine verzi • Newsweek România

The Romanian government is utilizing the REPowerEU allocation to transform unused and degraded lands into renewable energy production sites. This initiative, led by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of European Investments, aims to expand the role of the State Domains Agency (ADS) beyond agricultural land management. The new legislation classifies these lands as 'renewable energy acceleration zones,' facilitating quicker concessions for private investors in solar and wind energy. This reform addresses bureaucratic obstacles and aims to generate substantial revenue for the state while increasing green energy capacity by 2026. The project is expected to enhance energy independence and reduce production costs.
