18 persoane extrădate de Haiti în SUA

Eighteen individuals accused in the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise have been extradited to the U.S. for trial. The U.S. prosecutor emphasized the importance of holding all involved accountable, including those who financed the crime. Moise was killed in July 2021, leaving Haiti without a president. Among the extradited is Joseph Felix Badio, a key suspect, along with Colombian mercenaries. Haiti faces severe political and security crises, with gang violence displacing many citizens. Elections are scheduled for late 2026 and early 2027.
