Romanian companies can apply for funding to support investments in electric energy storage, as announced by the Ministry of Energy. The initiative aims to enhance the development of new autonomous energy storage facilities connected to the electricity grid, thereby increasing the share of renewable energy and ensuring the stability of the National Electroenergetic System. The application period is from September 1 to October 30, with a total budget of 150 million euros available. Eligible applicants include enterprises of all sizes, provided they meet specific criteria outlined in the state aid scheme. Projects must be completed within 48 months and adhere to environmental standards.
