15 octombrie: Medaliile Încoronării regilor României, propuse în 1921, prezentate la Sala Unirii din Alba Iulia

On October 15, 2026, the Sala Unirii in Alba Iulia will showcase medals and models proposed by sculptor Mihail Kara for the coronation of Romania's kings. Initially planned for 1921, the project included separate medals for each sovereign, but was ultimately rejected. Kara later presented a new design in 1922 featuring both kings together, yet the official medal was created by Constantin Cristescu. Some of Kara's designs are now part of the National Museum of the Union's collection and will be displayed during the event.
