On August 15, 2026, Alba Iulia will host the Alba Carolina Bike Race, featuring the Balkan MTB XCM Championship for the first time in Romania. The event includes a stage of the Romanian Mountain Bike Cup and will cover approximately 100 km across various localities. Six routes of different lengths and difficulty levels are planned, catering to all participants. The competition is organized by the BICICLIM ALBA Association in partnership with the Alba Iulia Municipality. The event will also include a series of activities leading up to the race, such as training sessions and a technical meeting.
