12 migranți au murit în Marea Egee, după de o barcă s-a răsturnat și cealaltă a fost implicată într-un accident

Greek authorities reported that 12 migrants died while attempting to cross the Aegean Sea, with six bodies found after a collision with a police vessel. The incident occurred near Lesbos, where rescue teams recovered the bodies of four men, a woman, and an infant, while eight survivors were hospitalized. Another six victims were from a capsized boat near Samos. A 37-year-old Turkish national, suspected of being the trafficker, was arrested. The Greek Minister of Maritime Transport blamed traffickers for the deaths and emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards them. Greece remains a key entry point for migrants from the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, with over 1,200 migrant deaths reported in the Mediterranean this year.
