100 de troleibuze electrice pentru București. Investiție de 2,2 miliarde de lei

Bucharest City Hall has initiated a tender for 100 electric trolleybuses and plans to launch another for 79 electric trams, marking a significant investment in public transport. The total contract value is 2.2 billion lei, with over 553 million lei sourced from non-reimbursable funds. The trolleybuses will be 18 meters long, fully accessible, and equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning and USB charging ports. They will also have a minimum range of 20 kilometers without contact network power, ensuring operational flexibility. The deadline for bid submissions is October 5, 2026.
